Konodlencje z Kanady

Andrzej was a man of vision as well of action. He made important things happen in the worlds of scholarship and criticism.

He was loved by his students and his contributions to knowledge in relation to Shakespeare and Modjewska have already been recognized. He was also a parent and grandparent who took huge pride in his family.  And he always was willing to laugh — at himself, at pomposity, at too many rules, at empty structures.  He insisted on always being real and being honest. These were goals he maintained for himself and for the institutions he cared about like IATC.  We send our  sincere sympathies to his family. Polish theatre and theatre criticism have lost a real friend. As have we.
